OLMSTEAD ORCHARDS IN "EAT THIS" BY IAN JACKMAN Ian Jackman believes that life is too short to deny yourself our nation's true culinary treasures. Olmstead Orchards was featured on an episode of the PBS show America's Heartland. The episode (#113) aired in January 2006 in our region and will be shown later in other areas of the country.
EVONNE HSU MUSIC VIDEO In June 2004, an MTV Asia production crew completed a video starring the American-born Chinese pop star eVonne Hsu. Some of the fabulous shots of cherries and beautiful scenery were shot in Olmstead Orchards' cherry orchard. There are also several shots of Olmstead family members and the interior of the family's home. The video was used in promotion of Northwest Cherries in Asia.

GIGI LEUNG MUSIC VIDEO SHOT AT OLMSTEAD ORCHARDS In June 1999, an MTV production crew completed a video and a commercial about Northwest cherries, starring Taiwanese pop star Gigi Leung. Some of the fabulous shots of cherries and beautiful scenery were shot in Olmstead Orchards' cherry orchard. Both 20 and 30 second commercials aired in Taiwan and Gigi sang the song Fresh, about cherries. Furthermore, the Washington State Fruit Commission sponsored Gigi's new album/CD. The cover of the CD featured Gigi in our cherry orchard and also contained other pictures of our dog Cooper and our orchards. The first 100,000 copies included a picture of a bright red, delicious cherry on the inside framing. Leung's hit song and video Fresh - filmed at a our orchard - spent three months as a top 10 hit on Asian MTV and weeks in heavy rotation on radio stations
